Students from the Dr. Manuel Laranjeira School Group in Espinho painted waste collected from the beaches during a Plogging Challenge.
These objects will be reorganized into fishing nets to be exhibited — bringing the sea into the heart of the city and reminding us that ocean preservation is a shared responsibility. Pollution knows no borders, and neither should our commitment to change.

As part of an environmental education program developed with the city of Espinho and Lipor, students collected and transformed around 120 kg of waste. This material will become the raw foundation for upcoming installations, demonstrating that what was once discarded can be regenerated through art and collective action.
A powerful reminder that creativity, community, and care can reshape our relationship with the ocean.
